The most wonderful time of the year.

Christmas
For most people is the best time of the year, I agree with this too. Everything about it perfect to me music, weather, decorations, and food food food. I'm in love with Santa, and Who does not love santa or "el niƱo jesus" ? Who does not love presents?. I love all this, but what I love the most is that I get to spend my Christmas with my favorite people in the world!! My family.
Last year I had the opportunity to have my first Christmas in the states, it wasn't what I was used to, but I did have a good time and I enjoyed it because it does not matter where you are but with who you are, and of course I'm talking a bout my family again. I just love my family so much.

Waiting for the 2015, I got to go to Venezuela and have a great time with my family and friends. Everything was perfect at my favorite island in Venezuela “ Isla de margarita” the tropical weather at the beach, singing, eating! This was perfection to me for sure and now I have more perfect memories of my life.

My favorite places

Caracas city

I lived my entire life in Caracas, my favorite city in the world. I don't mean to say that Caracas is the best city in the world; but once I left Venezuela, I came to realize how important in my life this small place called Caracas was. I feel the urge to go there at least once a year to recover my energy, and be able to keep going with the reality I face in the States. Caracas has an important significance in my life; all the memories and people that make me happy are in my native city.  Living in the states can make me sad sometimes, because of the environment. Everything feels so silent at times and can depress me. When I first got to this country, I spent most of my time homesick. I struggled trying to figure out how to be happy, I found myself complaining all the time for everything, like food, people, places, school, and every single thing.  I truly believe that the reason was because everything was so different from what I knew. My lifestyle in the states is the complete opposite from what my lifestyle in Venezuela was, but it does not bring me down anymore; because I started believing that everything happens for a reason. I also believe that time helps a lot by healing all the scars. I guess I'm starting to get used to this country, its people and customs. Even though many people feel fortunate to live in this country; and my city is known for being one of the most dangerous places in the world, to me is a really special place that I really love.

A beautiful video of my city!!  linked below.

Margarita island or isla the margarita

Omg!! On this island is where my favorite beaches are. In my opinion, the best beach in Margarita Island is "Playa Parguito". One of the reasons why I love this beach is because I always have so much fun with my family and friends here. Margarita Island has an amazing weather all year, I usually wait every December and summer vacation to go there and relax. This beach is just perfect in every single way for me."

Your culture is your brand

There's not better way to describe the Venezuelan culture than by talking about its diversity; when I think of Venezuelan people I think of diversity. Why diversity? Because in Venezuela, people is the product of a mix of cultures, and we love our diversity.  Our indigenous  people are the most important element in our history, since they were the first people that lived in Venezuelan territory. Venezuela's indigenous population are divided in a variety of tribes located in different parts of the country.  Some of the tribes are  “ Wayuu, Yanomamo, Warao,Yaruro, etc”; we also have a diverse heritage in our country, such as Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, and so many others, which complement us as Venezuelans"
